GOOD FRIDAY: Every year, barring pandemics, CTW arranges a walk of witness in Wakefield through the City Centre often starting and/or finishing at Wakefield Cathedral or a City Centre church. This concludes with a Good Friday Service inside and outside. This has been taking place for over 50 years.
ASCENSION DAY: For many years CTW has arranged a short service at Sandal Castle (south of the City Centre) early on Ascension Day: it is led by a local church or group and ends when the gathering prays a blessing over the City.
AGM The CTW AGM takes place every year- in 2022 on 5th October at St Paul’s Alverthorpe at 7:30pm. All are welcome.
CAROL SINGING: takes place on the lower level of Trinity Walk adjacent to the Car Park on 15th December 2022 at 5:30pm. It is supported by local churches and groups and includes a collection for a charity.
CHRISTIAN UNITY WEEK 18th-25th January. Usually includes daily services in different churches and a city-wide service on one of the Sunday afternoons
