Churches Together in Wakefield

Who we are and what we do

CTW is a Forum for the Christian Churches in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire – Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Methodist, Pentecostal, URC and Independent: all the main local churches are members of CTW.

On the menu above you will find our News Updates and details of Member Churches with a website for each. We’ve included a Gallery of some member churches (more welcome- email here) and a contact page including a contact form if preferred. There are also links to other relevant sites.

We hope that we now have a new beginning for CTW despite the pandemic and economic and international uncertainty.

We will keep you posted here. We support local initiatives. Importantly, we aim to maintain contact and fellowship with each other.

To subscribe to our NEWS UPDATE e-mails just e-mail us at churcheswakefield@icloud.com adding your name, address and of course email!

We will then keep you posted!

A Prayer for the King...

Lord, save our King, Charles, when we call upon You.

Let us pray.
Almighty God, we pray that your servant King Charles, who by your mercy has undertaken the government of this realm, may receive increase of all the virtues; so fittingly adorned, may he be enabled to overcome his enemies, and with the Royal family, may he at the last be welcomed by you, who are the way, the truth, and the life.  Through Christ our Lord.  Amen.
